One of my family's favorite basics, modified from many trial and error moments. Great with wide variety of side dishes. Serves 3-4 depending on how many teenage boys are involved.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup + 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce
- 1¼ pounds boneless (or bone-in chops good, too) pork tenderloin chops
Marinate pork in above ingredients for at least 1 hour (while refrigerated). Better if 8 hours, but who has time for all that? These are really good grilled but also nice when seared in cast iron skillet, then baked in 375 degree oven until temperature reading of 160-165. Works well with a whole tenderloin as well.
yum!
